Wireless performance is MUCH better, battery life is great and it loads much faster. I wanted the Homebase so I didn't have to worry about the actual camera being stolen, and I just like the idea. We're right in the middle of town so it's super convenient but every single house has a WiFi network and they're near enough to cause congestion/interference my aunt has a Ring alarm + cameras and hers work fine with the same ISP and router as us but she's further out and I don't pick up nearly as many WiFi networks when I search.Īnyway, I converted all of our cameras to Eufy. WiFi performance on the Ring products are subpar and that's a problem with the cameras. We had several Ring cameras and the Ring home alarm. How about RTSP support with a Synology NAS? Which camera models support this and can be used without a cloud subscription? Will the home security system work fine if they can't be integrated with Homebase? So does this mean all of the Eufycam Series cameras, home alarm system and Doorbell Camera 2K are the only things supported by Homebase? Has anyone used the Eufy home alarm system? Is it worth it? How does any/all of Eufy compare to Ring right now? They eufycam serials, Eufy alarm system and the battery doorbell 2k support Homebase. I've even e-mailed their support and they said: Why is Eufy's documentation so lacking? Is it still relatively new to the market? It also seems like some of Eufy's cameras have microSD storage and others don't, some can be controlled via the Homebase while others cannot, etc. I currently have a Ring home alarm system with a hard-wired floodlight camera, one AC plug-in outdoor camera and two regular hard-wired floodlights (no cameras.) I've been shopping Eufy's options to compare and see if I could replace all of the Ring with Eufy.
